Well the time has come again where I get to ask myself “Why didn’t I train for this?” over and over again for 13.2 miles. The silver lining here is that I get a reprieve from the 50 degree and rainy pacific northwest in favor of the scorching dry heat of Phoenix, AZ. (scorching meaning about 70 degrees with a chance of rain) Also, Monday off of work - that is nice too. If you don’t hear from me after this weekend, consider me a sacrifice to the gods of the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.
